About Our Organization

Cambridge TeamMates were established in 2008 and serves almost 50 matches in the Cambridge Public School system. We are a school based one on one mentoring program and serve students in grades 4-12. We offer a $500 scholarship to each graduating senior and provide chapter activities for everyone to enjoy, such as our annual bowling party, a group picnic in the fall, movie matinee, etc. We do our own fundraising to pay for these events, background checks for our mentors, and marketing/advertising materials such as t-shirts for chapter members. 

Any funds provided to Cambridge TeamMates from the Big Give event would be used for general operational expenses of the chapter, including background checks for mentors and chapter activities such as the annual end of year bowling party (the chapter provides food and bowling), the kick off picnic (the chapter provides food), and taking seniors to the Husker Spring Game in Lincoln, etc.
